this was hilarious! Riddler is definitely losing it.

Dick/Cassie interaction was just really sweet.

While i do enjoy your plots, especially the non-magic related ones, i do believe that your strongest suit is the characterization, no one is short changed.

Well I must have reviewed most of the last few chapters, I must say String Theory was a bit to confusing. All the alternate realities, as well as the Magic debts. There was a bit to much to keep track of the plot. Fortune cookies is good, less confusing, I always enjoy your writing but S.T. not as much this time

...She still won't shut up about the stupid goggles I see.

Overall, a good fic. Clayface makes his return, Helena and Azrael/Jean-Paul hook up, and now Dinah's taking her first steps toward personal and proffessional redemption. It was refreshing to see a story dealing almost exclusively with the batfamily and the rogues while barring the actual cat and bat themselves.

Now on to "Gotham Post"...*groans apprehensively*...Incessant costume whining, here I come...

Batman's last few words seemed just a little ominous. And oh so juicy.
I loved this one. I'm so glad Dinah has made a decision taht everyone can live with. I hope Eddie gets in contact with Doris soon. I really liked that this chapter centered around Bruce, it gave it a nice finality. And you've made me hungry for Chinese food (even though it wasn't actually mentioned in this chapter.) *grins and grabs a pair of chopsticks*

Oh God, now everybody's got split-personality disorder. I loved the running theme of people waking up from their dreams.
It was good of Oliver to talk to Dinah like that. Maybe that'll help her a little more. Like the fortune cookie said at the end of the last chapter.

2007-01-21 . chapter 5
Dinah's one of those people you have to feel conflicted about. I can see why everyone hates her and I probably would, too, if I were one of them, but I feel so bad for her at the same time. She's got to be pretty lonely.
However, I loved the interaction between Nightwing, Azrael, Robin, Cassie, and the Riddler. It was a thing of beauty, all the way through.

Wow... Eddie really screwed up this time, didn't he? That must have been some night. Puzzlemuffin. Heh.
On a side note, the scene between Fox, Montoya, and Gladys was great. So were their fortunes--especially Renee's. That poor fortune writer. I wonder if that's going to come into play later on...

2007-01-21 . chapter 3
So... Eddie's missing Doris, Cassie's kicking Tim's ass at 'Phoenix Ninja,' Dick's beating himself up over her mistake. Clayface has come back to Gotham, and Az peeked. Did I miss anything? I hope you bring Doris back. I really liked her--about as much as I enjoyed Moira's screensavers. And I'm guessing Tim will be treating Cassie to some ice cream for a few weeks... right after Bruce comes home and chews everyone out for their carelessness. This should be interesting.

"With this new fully armed and operational battlestation... in bed." I'm still giggling over it.
So, I guess Scarecrow got his new costume, huh? I really like Cassie. I'm glad she's got a prominent role in this story. And the continuation of Riddler's conundrum is cool, too. I can't wait to see what else you've got planned.

Oh... I like how this one's starting out. I loved the variety of people you have, each with his or her own moments. Poor Cassie. Although, I did think it was great that Crane could swagger. I wonder what Kitlemeier's cooking up. Can't wait to see.

So many couples- wow. But, out of Eddie and Doris, Az/Jean Paul and Helena, Barbara and Dick, Bruce and Selina, Harley and "Mr. M," Dinah and Ollie- Cassie and Tim are just adorable in the best ways. She deserves someone who can cheer her up, and good for him for not ignoring a friend. After all this time, I'm just about caught up with this brilliant series- and I want more. Lots more. I doubt that you would stop writing, at this point- right? For now, I'll re-read. These stories are worth re-reading many times.

Change of Plans:
Dick handles his responsibility well. Dealt with Cassandra admirably. Oh, and glad to read JT is still dead. The letters mixup with Riddler and Hatter. Hatter is a hoot. Delectable Puzzlemuffin.

Incognifty:
The adventure of the Riddler’s love letter continues. “Here’s your letter, Nigma.’ ‘Here’s your clue, Nightwing.’ ‘Now let’s just be men, look at our feet, and leave the rooftop.’”
Clayface—he has a personality and the use of his past roles. I love it. But Poison Ivy is plotting against him!
Nightwing’s use of Batgirl to solve the Riddler problem. Simple, clever.

Knightmare:
Dinah and Ollie. They were a top couple once upon a time and they’ve never been able to credibly match them up with other people. Ollie moved past lovable rogue to obnoxious creep a while back. Fix him along with Dinah.

Home is a Name
No sooner said than done—Ollie and Di, that is. An interesting idea.
B and his logs. Nice way to wrap it all up.
I do want to see what Riddler will do but I think Scarecrow is more intriguing right now, and Harley and Clayface/Monarch. Ruminations about Xanadu, nice, a little ominous. And just about now I’m ready for what comes next.
The Post! Ah!

2006-03-25 . chapter 7
“That’s it,” Batman said, a cunning, calculating smile creasing his lips – a frightfully unnerving phenomenon almost never seen in the cowl. “That’s a very good idea.”

Heh. Lovely. It's interesting how you're somehow able to bring Bruce a little closer in character to Selina while still keeping him Batman.

Chapter two: in bed

Another example. The man who was always “Pher-o-mones?” to me I now find sympathetic and amusing. That whole order of Dumas sort of religious techno thing that lost me about half way through before but so simple to grasp here. Az’s grooming tips to JP. Iron your clothes, shave but Indulge not in that aftershave that smells of a spice market in Budapest.

Dinah and Babs—unfinished business which should have been addressed in the comics so it’s good to see it played out here. The insightful bit about Norman Panks, the man in Barbara’s victim support group, the guilt and self-sabotage.

Helena and JP—they seem a nice couple!

The Monarch of Menace. You better be able to back up a name like that. I mean it better be deceptively goofy.

Alfred-Stephanie, touching.

Chapter three: Two Kinds
Leland Bartholomew’s Arkham employee evaluations. Couldn’t help but be funny. Poor man.

Eddie and his search for a hench wench. Rogue troubles I never considered before now. Eddie has such high standards too. It must be hard on him.
Quizzex, you’re fired.
