I'm going to say that this story is absolutely amazing. I just read it all in one go (when I was supposed to be studying for my finals!) and it is incredible. I laughed at some parts, and cried like a baby in others. The ranch scene especially made me cry.

As for the latest Act, it sounds so dramatic! I'm really curious about chapter 19, and what Yggdrasil was telling Lloyd. I had a feeling that Mithos was the boy in this chapter too, and it turns out that I was right...but what could that mean now?

I really hope you update this again. It's been a while, but I would love for it to continue!

Ah, the wonders of fanfiction... I love this. Pure and simply love it. Gorgeous, beautiful, wondrous writing. The story is nothing if not solid, the characters are both true to the game and origanal, and the romance is perfectly woven in. It's no wonder you have so many reviews. Don't ever let someone say your story sucks, because they just aren't open minded enough to see that this is fanfiction for a reason. We authors are allowed to tamper with, twist, toy with, and change the story however we wish, and I aplaud you for doing just that. Thank you for this peice of art. I looked for Sheelloyd, And I got so much more. Thank you.

You NEED to finish this story! I'm not joking, from what I've read you are a freaking AWESOME writer! This is one of the best pieces I've ever read. It has equal parts suspense, romance, action, humor and just enough tragedy to make it really interesting. I know this review is late as opposed to the stories release date but it could still be great! So finish it or at least update a few times kinda often. Please?

While I could go into detail over your mastery of diction, grammar, etc., I doubt I could come up with anything that hasnt already been said. Case and point, this story is amazing to say the least.

Wow, I can only imagine that you've adopted the interest of many readers. Truly a refreshing peace of work, "Beneath the Surface".
The verity of this, is truly atonishing. You grammer prowess is visibly accelerated along with you spelling and punctuation. See when I first began reading from chapter one I thought this was going to be an intellectual fiction yet the usage of the words in be inproper. You proved me wrong. All of your vocabulary is use corectly sequentially making me believe that you are not an intellectual snob.

I do hope you reply to this review...For I'm curious of how this idea hit you, for the plot. For the idea of Lloyd abondoning the journey of regeneration and meeting Sheena is simply Genius. I love it...the whole thing. You even managed to cram all of Sheena and Lloyd's qaulities without generating your own type of character...If you know what I mean. I'm relating this to how some writers seem to recreate their own character and completely neglect the character's real personality traits.

And I would just like to remark on how much your writing impressed me. You've redefined my expectations for authors on FF. At once again I'd really envy you if you replied to this review. =)
