Even at college when I should have been concentrating on work I was thinking of your FanFic and what crazy stuff McKenna and Jack were going to get up to =) Jack Sparrow and all Pirates of the Caribbean characters were in character, of which I applaud you, and I loved McKenna, she was a brilliant OC. Now I have a bone to pick with you… you made me cry, which is something I rarely do when reading a FanFic, which just shows how good it was :) The plot was fantastic and had so many things going on and I loved how when something was over another little adventure began. The ending was completely unexpected and I loved it and I loved how Sally Sparrow ended up with the Black Pearl along with Seth and a little one on the way. I hope this long review makes up for not reviewing on every chapter. Thanks for your great FanFic, keep up the good work :D Kirsty.

I'm really glad you did this, and now that I know that Sally's taking over...makes the blow alot easier. lol. I stil can't believe the ending to this. I was totally blown away. But this is still one of the best stories on this site. I'm very proud of this! Congrats!
Anaknusan 2008-08-12 ch 1,	abuseI know this is only the first chapter and you're 34 chapters deep and maybe finished with the story, but I just have to give you a heads up on misuse of words. FOr example - very first two lines of your story: soul and sole are two different things. Soul in your body and sole of your shoe. Look out for things like that because mistakes like that can bother the reader and cause them to move on from your story. Besides that, keep writing. ~A

1BabyBoy 2008-07-28 ch 34,	abuseWell written ending! I couldn't help but think, however, how really selfish Jack was in the end. By giving up, he made McKenna's sacrifice meaningless. Of course, being selfish also would be in character for Jack! So, there's a symmetry to that, after all. Looking forward to another O/C story from you.

alonefreehearted 2008-07-28 ch 34,	abuseI feel like a total arse for not reviewing more frequently, but my dear, you have totally rocked my world! The ending to this was simply flawless (in every sense of the word). The whole story was fluid and intriguing and I am constantly wondering "why doesn't this story have 10+ reviews?" Because it deserves that many, and 10 more! I think the idea of afterlife love for Jack and McKenna worked perfectly into the theme of sacrifice and devotion that I personally saw within the arch of the story, and you worked it to a shiny masterpiece for us to savor and get all teary from. I offer my thanks and my congratulations to you for finishing this lovely story, and I can't wait to read the epilogue (and a new story, too)!
6wolves0 2008-07-23 ch 34,	abuseOMG! Please do an alternate ending after you get your epilogue up. I love how you still made it seem like a happy ending but, I just really love when both are alive. I still cried though! I hope you write another Jack/oc. Your really good. If you decide to start another story, put the summary up on your homepage. I'm so excited! Please finish! (and maybe an alternate ending too, please!)

But, I have to say, that it was one of the best fanfictions I have ever read. Ever. I love every minute of it. You have an amazing talent in writing and should totally continue it. If you were to write another Jack/oc...I WILL love you forever! I have one tiny, miniscule, itty-bitty request though...after the epilouge...can we (I) have an alternate ending...one where they live? Pretty please with Jack naked on top!! I'll be looking for the epilouge!

1BabyBoy 2008-05-30 ch 33,	abuseWell, I'm disappointed. In the previous chapter, Jack was not so enamored of McKenna, yet now he is mourning her? And how did Ursula even get Jack out of the cabin? Having discharged her pistol into Eric Nash's head, Jack should have been able to jump her. (I don't recall that she had two pistols.) Your story started full of promise but these last chapters, unfortunately, are not as well crafted as the first: too many holes and too much jumping around without sufficient linkages. I hope my comments will not keep you from continuing to write. You do show some promise. Good luck. I do look forward to the next chapter and the epilogue.
