This is a really interesting start for a story. The only thing I can really complain about is how you seem to write your stories out of sequence. It's almost like reading the sequel before you can finish the first story... But that may just be personal opinion! Keep up the great stories!

A worthy and neccessary story.

Ah, so much love. I love how you work with Andrahar- I've read Noble Jewel, and the rest- and getting a glimpse at Heth's experiences (spoilers for The Silver Swan, somewhat) was a relief and great to know about.

I've been up through 4 AM so I fancy I'm being a bit incoherent, but- so much love for your storytelling!

I really enjoy this story. I haven't ever seen Dol Amroth Yule. Is it on or elsewhere? I really want to read it. I can't wait for you next update of one of your stories.

Noble, just and good. This brings tears to my eyes and I feel as though I would be proud to be among such people. Superb.

I have to say that I have not been a fan of your Armsmaster. I found him irritatingly arrogant and hypocritical. But as usual, as soon I have set my opinion in stone, you write a new chapter that makes me re-evaluate the way that I think about a character. I may not like them any more than previously, but I can appreciate them as being an important and interesting part of your story, which I enjoy very much and wish that you would update MUCH MUCH more often. You really are an absolutely fantastic writer. If I might make a suggestion it would be very helpful if you would put all of your stories on one site... having different stories on three different sites makes it rather difficult to follow a storyline, etc.

Wonderful story...as usual!

What I really liked here was the complexity of the emotions that Andrahar was feeling and how willing he was to explore them. Not an easy task for a man of his pride, but a necessary one. I love Andra for a lot of reasons, but this takes my appreciation for your understanding of him to a new level. It would have been easy NOT to write this. I am so very glad you did; it must have been difficult.

And the growth of Brand and Andra's relationship - just beautiful. And then too, Heth and Andra take a step forward. I'm quite impressed at how much you've moved them all forward with just a very short story.

Thanks for the lovely addition/update/expansion of your Heth-verse!

I love this! Noble Jewel was a very good story. I just love Andrahar's character.
Pink Kryptonite 2/6/06 . chapter 1
Despite the lack of a Faramir or Imrahil, I still really enjoyed this story! That is really saying something. I love the World you've created. I found the way Andra handled this issue of his honor to seem realistic for his personality, congrats on that. I also like seeing so many difference perspectives of the same events and on the same people. I like the full-view of each person it provides... the way Imrahil sees himself, the way Andra sees him, the way they both see Hethlin and the way she sees herself... I think it is all really interesting.

I love all Isabeau updates. :) What can I say? You rock my World! I will tap my foot and wait for more updates. I implore le muse de Isabeau to awake and cook up something good!

I love this story! Brand's influence over Andrahar is perfect, and I especially love the ending. However, like another reviewer said, I couldn't find "Dol Amroth Yule". Where might I be able to read that?
valin 2/5/06 . chapter 1
Great writing as usual! I love it that you continue the Brand/Andrahar story! But now it got me very curious and I am dying to read Hethlins perspective of what occurred, so please write some mor chapers on silver swan! Perhaps you could alternate between the storie?

Oh wow . . . I almost got tears in my eyes from how well the emotions were brought to life. CMC has actually made me cry a little-it's your Hethverse, it's wonderful. I absolutely *love* it. I think you've done an excellent job in bringing the characters to life. I love Imrahil, and Hethlin, and Faramir, and I think Andrahar has been well-done too. I am *very* impressed. Keep writing! (Particularly on Silver Swan-I want to see the next part of Heth's life. :D)

Your writing satisfies me at some deep level - it is just as well that you have a life, if you were more prolific I would be chained to my computer reading your work all day every day, instead I get these random treats.

As ever beautiful characterisations - why don't you knock the spots off these folk and send it off to a publisher - you are most entertaining and your original characters stand alone with ease.

A sequel to "Dol Amroth Yule"! Again something very unexpected, but very good. I did a second reading of DAY on to get it back into my head. I thought the end of your old story would have been enough apology then Hethlin would ever get from Andrahar, but this fits perfectly into his character. Once he realizes what he has done, he has no other choice than to do what he does in your new story.

"And suddenly he remembered a boy, a Haradrim boy, as unwelcome among the knights as Hethlin was. Violence had been done upon him, and against all expectation he had received justice. With Adrahil long dead, and Imrahil absent, who was there to do justice in Hethlin’s name?" Perfect!

And before that, the reason why Andrahar was so much against her: "A surly, mule-stubborn, not particularly attractive upstart girl who, as a warrior, would intrude upon all aspects of Andrahar’s comradeship with Imrahil."

Thank you!
