I always had only a vague idea of my favourite character's past due to the bad info on Wikipedia and in the games, but this has painted a vivid impression in my mind. The plot pieces fitted together perfectly, as did the solders, Mafia syndicates and Maria's 'friends' introduced in the story, which added exceedingly to the experience. I stayed up until 3:30am to finish reading this. :D
A beautifully constructed masterpiece. Maria was in just the right character, not emo, not stone cold, not impulsive, perfect. Her little 'mishaps' with ice meant I could link her to the future Maria with her brand new awesome robot. And at the end of the day, we can all realise that beneath that bada** exterior, she is just a vulnerable girl who can still get bashed up physically by thugs, and mentally by Valentinoz. :l
Thank you for providing me much joy during my summer holidays. _
This is such a great story and I'm glad that you reposted it. This is so well-written that I often think of it when pondering Maria's past. Thank you for a job well done!
It is physically impossible for me to type the words that describe how much I love this story.
You have absolutely AMAZING talent, this is one of the best fanfics I have ever read in my life. It does interest me to think of Maria's English as being quite that limited right before she came to Tokyo, but the multiple languages does add a little needed flair to the story.
Wow, really great chapters! It makes a lot of sense of linking the Sakura Taisen movie, the OVA and the manga together, although its only fanfiction xD. Great job, hope you have more to write on, I am really really moved by the story.
