An excellent Ana-Lucia piece! I know a lot of Lost viewers don't like her, but I think this would change the minds of even those people! I love how you incorporated phrases of various prayers and Catholic Church teaches.

This was powerful. I like the way you juxtapose the words of the liturgy with the thoughts in her head, and this: "Not suicide, though. Even suicide by cop. Or grieving lover." Both are seeking death at this point, both haunted by guilt for past sins. I see a lot in common between Ana and Sayid, both haunted by their pasts, Sayid a little farther along in his journey towards redemption than is Ana (leaving her in Hell after all, as you put it). I hope you will write more pieces involving these two.
