I read this a long time ago. And I've had it favorited for quite some time, but I can't believe I never took the time to review. This fic tugs on my heartstrings in a way many don't. It's so accurate, insightful, and tragic. Therefore, it is beautiful. Here's to you for a wonderful fic, sf!

I'm not entirely sure how, but you've just ripped my heart out and left it bleeding on the floor. Maybe it's because I've folded all of my cranes for people who never recovered from illness. This was extremely well-written and intensely touching for me to read.

This is a beautiful piece of work. I particularly like the alternation in the last part between the folding of the crane, and Weapon attacking. Very well done.

Very sweet and touching - I loved the symbology of the crane, and the juxtaposition of the past and present towards the end.

Also, the relationship of Tseng and Rufus was just perfect, especially Rufus. Exactly how I imagined the softer side of Rufus to be.
