TAE1 2006-03-31 ch 2,	abuseThe premise is very good, so far. You could definitely use a beta, however. Your youth is very obvious in your choices for the words the characters use. 'anyways' is a regional/age related anomaly and is NOT in common usage. And I simply can't see Grissom saying 'he's been pushing himself way too hard'; 'much too' is far more likely. And 'alright' should only be used colloquially when someone is literally shouting 'alright' (possibly pronounced 'aw right!'), otherwise, use 'all right'. There are spots that are outstanding, like: 'He just never realized how much harder people were to understand than crime scenes.' That's a wonderful and very much in character line.
