abuseOoh, it ended on a very ominous note =)

Great job with this story - I love your whole series very, very much. Your writing ability has greatly improved from the last one, and this was a great story to read. I love how the esper race is rising... and now they are at their zenith. Unfortunately, very soon they will decline =(

How much of this story is from FF1? Is Bahamut's time limit real? If so, why couldn't Bahamut connect with his past self and tell him to wait?

I love how you explain things like where Hades came from, and the creation of moogles and chocobos, and swords and armor came from Odin, and Masamune and Ragnarok... Leviathan and Starlet will eventually become King and Queen of the Espers in FF4... By the way, where is Bahamut at that time? Oh well, I'll see it when I get there.

Lol, I never forgot the reason why Summoners have horns. That was very, very interesting. I loved that. Anyway, seeya later!

abuseMan, it's been about six months since I left off on this story, I had forgotten how awesome it was. You've created a brilliant history behind the mythos and origins of things from the Final Fantasy universe.

abuseWow.That was awesome. It reminded me a bit of DBZ though. The completely white area with the mist at the edges.Seemed like that one chamber, only slight changes added in.It was amazingly written.I can't wait to read the rest.

I also wanted to ask about something else.My friend and I have begun a RP forum.I was wondering if you'd like to join it.I have made a RP based on this story and was wondering if you minded, or possibly even wanted to join it.

abuseWow...long chapter.Took me a while to read that.It was good though.I thought that Siren would come as the evil side of Sylph. It was a surprise for Gilgamesh to turn evil though...I assumed he lived, but didn't think he would turn evil...I can't wait to read more.

abusea worthy sucessor to the griever saga and another briliant eplanation for the existance of some dark espers

the pace is faster than the previous volume but the events of final fantasy one are covered well and entertainingly form this new perspective, presumably then the terrans will be comming to enact the events of final fantasy nine soon but when does FF five come in (actual vistiors from other planets and all that) ... actually were there even summons in five? did bahamut appear?

hmm a question for ... later on when i go home and look through my saved games i think

i wont review for a bit now because, as you may well realise, the wyvern battles is BIG and will take some time to finish

abuseAn ending well done for this chapter. It really makes FF1 tie in in a way, although none of it 'really' happened.

With the conclusion of one great battle comes the forbidding of another.
I do wonder if the Garland here links to the one in FF9.
I'm guessing that the attitudes of the Lufenians will have changed by the time of FF4, but that's a long way off.

By the time of FF6, I suppose that's where an age of Espers comes to an end.

Speaking of FF4, that's where Wyvern appears again it seems, but it also has Leviathan's dark half of Oppongo.
Pity, I was sort of hoping for the Light Warriors to come across Wyvern / Dark Bahamut as in the Soul of Chaos dungeon.
But with Bahamut watching them so closely, I guess that would've sent him running to that location, no matter what. Then again, once the world had altered, Wyvern would've been gone again.
Perhaps Wyvern would have some links to the Tiamat in FF8, but guess that's an even longer way off.

abuseNice ending. When can we be expecting Book 3?

I liked your origins for Garland. I knew you were going to make him the same idiot from FFIX, they even mentioned that he was once a great knight or something along those lines.

Good-byee to the Terrans, and good riddence, they deserve to die if they believe that they will be able to get away with mass genocide on this kind of a level.

I take it we won't be hearing from Wyvern until the events of FFIV? As far as I can tell, that was the only Final Fantasy that had Bahamut's opposite, unless you count Tiamat, but as she happens to be a fiend as opposed to Esper... That's a point, there was a different set of Fiends in FFIV, how are you going to explian that? You can't alter them so that they are they're the originals, because Rubicante's noble attitude was a significant change, that, and they're order of importance/strength.

Looking forward to the next book.

ch 19,
abuseInspite of it being a big final battle, I feel you've got to to a very nice size. There's enough action in it that makes it believeable, yet it doesn't keep dragging on.

A nice job on this one. Hopefully the bigger battles in the future will be as economizied as this one.

abuseWoo, awesome battle. And all in the course of just over 8 minutes.

Will they die, or will the shattering of the Chaos Stone somehow save their lives? (No, don't tell me, I want to wait for the next chapter!)

What you can tell me though, was whether or not Siren was the voice that they heard, that tried to convince them not to destroy the stone. Seems like it, but it may have been the stone itself.

Update soon.

ch 18,
abuseWoo. That was worth the long wait, though I'd rather not have to wait so long in future, when I'm used to you updating once or twice a day.

The final battle... I hated that fight because it took so god-damned long, with no changes in battle style or anything. I only had members of my team KOed once or twice, and that was more luck on Chaos' part. If you're going to make the fight last forever and a day like it did on the game, how are you going to have them survive Odin's Grunge Lance? since I have doubts that he'd listen to Bahamut, if Bahamut were to sense anything of what was happening inside.

I wonder... what happened to Gilgamesh? he should be in there, somewhere, shouldn't he? No exit, no sign that he's left through other means, and the fact that the Masamune was still there is evidence enough, since he wouldn't leave until he found it, would he?

Looking forward to the next chapter.
