amazing... that was wonderful you captured Javert perfectly his very essance being his obsession with Valjean with that what is he? i loved it well done.

This was really powerful reading. It's rare that people can speak with the character's voice and sound like them, but you do it with style. Javert's anger comes out in the brevity of his sentences, the starkness of his language. This is a man who realizes just how empty he is without his obsession.

It's a shame that he killed himself, but in the end, maybe he had to. Maybe it was the only way to escape the cat-and-mouse game he's played with Valjean.

An excellent fic. I look forward to reading more.

Beautifully written. Javert always was my favorite it the book, musical, and movie, and you've stayed wonderfully true to the character.
