I just read this story at deviantart - as a matter of fact, the title picture done by Luna-Kitsune-Blu made me aware of it - but since I can´t review there I´ll do it here.

I am highly impressed; to be honest, in my opinion, the Zelda fandom could easily use more of this kind of story instead of the usual Ganon-is-back-what-do-we-do-now setup type. This first chapter sets a very promising scene, for a change Hyrule isn´t the only place in the whole world, foreign policy and intrigue play an important part. I wonder if it´s a sort of mixture between Ocarina of Time (the name of Castle Town and Impa´s role seems to hint at that) and A Link to the Past (well, the name of Agahnim is a dead giveaway, now isn´t it?). Your characters are precisely that - live characters, they´re believable for the largest part (though would a mere knight like Sanguine really talk to a princess - his future Queen - like that?) and you transported especially Zeldas character very well, determined, stubborn even, but the determination stems from a great caring for and devotion to her people.

I hope that you didn´t abandon this story, it´s very promising, as I´ve said before, since the time of its posting is quite a while ago. But if you update eventually, I´ll be happy to read on.

You're right this is much better than the last.

I like that you slowed things down just enough to take that jumpy quality out. The extra depth you've given the characters will make them more easily recognizable later on.

Zelda doesn't seem as flighty and her thought are more serious minded. This is good. The length was nice and I had no problem reading it all the way through. I only notice a few minor spelling errors, but nothing to write home about.
