I laugh so hard at these side stories and my family has just learned to ignore me. I've decided that if I ever need a laugh I will retread one of these side stories.

When Luke gets into trouble, he does it with a capital T! Getting stuck on a notorious bounty hunter's ship is just another accident, except he blamed Ben this time lol.

I laughed out loud too many times to count during this chapter. It is that good!

Hah! Funny. And cute. As always. I loved the bit where Ben and Luke sneaked onto Frett's ship and were then caught. And then it was pretty predictable that Vader would attack the same rebel ship Luke and Zev were on. Predictable, but satisfying. I think the last line of the piece was just delicious irony. Vader seems to think so, too.

The last thing he wanted was "Darth Vader's Son: The Rebel!" headlines splashed all over the HoloNet. His master would not be impressed. *face palm*

“…However, he will likely be spending the rest of his summer break locked in a tower with a rancor standing guard." I knew the tower idea was a good one.

And Luke asking Vader if their deal would be altered later—loved it!

“Down the corridor, a door slid open with a hissing sound. Luke stepped out, hanging his head like he was going to the dentist.” Love the shout-outs to earlier FB fics. It really binds them all together.

"Oh, I have something in the works," Luke said. "You know me. Full of surprises." NICE

"Go easy on him, son," Vader said, feeling his mood improve even further. "It was an accident." Hah! Vader got the last laugh; that was the perfect line to end this amazing installment of Force Bond. Great job!

I think the way you are using Obi Wan, Anakin’s younger Jedi self, and Qui Gon vision to guide Vader to a lesson, or advice, he needs to heed is really effective and creative. And, the vision of Vader as the huge black bird with Luke as the smaller yellow bird flying under the bigger bird’s wing—that was nicely done.
