Upgrade 2/12/06 . chapter 1Nabiki's blind and ronin, Kasumi's comatose, and Ranma is with Nabiki. The wedding attempt must have really gone wrong... But what's this in the summary about a thorn in Ranma's side? Do you mean Nabiki? Because she doesn't seem like much of a thorn anymore. |
Lumias 2/12/06 . chapter 1This story seems to be dark, i like it's start. As with all your stories i'm looking forward to the next chapter. |
EagleCeres 2/12/06 . chapter 1A bit scary, a new change and a slight twist at life. Two hearts living a new path, but the shadows of their past keeping them tied. Interesting beginning, hope to read more! |
Adeptis 2/12/06 . chapter 1wow, seems dark (pun unintended) |
darkwoofe 2/12/06 . chapter 1Can't wait to see what this is all about |
borg rabbit 2/12/06 . chapter 1Boy! Is this an angst fest or what? Makes me want to know what happened. Apparently, Ranma is taking care of Nabiki, but what has led to this dire situation. You are a mean, teasing child of a female dog. :) Update soon. Ciao, Wes |
Silverscale 2/12/06 . chapter 1...wow... that was... so sad... please... make Kasumi and Nabiki better soon... *blows his nose* |
bissek 2/12/06 . chapter 1I'm not sure what caused Nabiki to go blind and Kasumi to end up in a coma, but it's obvious that everybody thinks it's Nabiki's fault-including Nabiki (Which is odd, as one of the cardinal ordinances of the First Church of Nerima is that if Ranma is within twenty miles of a person when something bad happens to them (or catches up with them), it is his fault. Other important points of this religion include such daily rituals as the Communion of Mallets and the Benediction of the Glomp). The disowning of Nabiki after the incident will have long term effects on the Tendos eventually, however. The matter of whether Nabiki is a manipulative b*tch or a woman who will do whatever it takes, however dishonorable, to keep her family afloat depends entirely on the ratio of how much of the money she scams off people is kept for herself and how much is used for household expenses. This changes between fics and authors. Either way, it is highly unlikely that the Tendos can survive without her. Whatever it was, it must have been truly awful seeing as that household only pays lip service to honor most of the time. (Genma makes mutually exclusive honor agreements on Ranma's behalf. Soun obviously NEVER intended to honor the agreement with Chardin. Akane made a promise to stop attacking Ranma, broke it the same day, and every day afterwards. NOBODY-not even Kasumi, gave any of them so much as a reprimand.) |
A Reader 2/12/06 . chapter 1 Well, I'm...really confused currently. As a prolouge, the style here can work, but if the entireity of the story is written like this, it'll really make for disjointed reading. |
James Axelrad 2/12/06 . chapter 1 interesting start. |
Dragon Man 180 2/12/06 . chapter 1It's sad to see Nabiki, who always seemed so in control of things, reduced to such helplessness. I hope that the Tendo family can eventually be brought back together sometime, loosing her sisters must be tearing Kasumi up. |
