andaere 6/2/10 . chapter 26Aww... Thank you for writing this. I feel much like Anakin does at the end of this story - whole. It's so nice when I can find a well-written, introspective, COMPLETED Star Wars story. I'm sure many people have said this, but I'll say it again. I'm very intrigued by your idea of Darth Vader and Anakin Skywalker being split personalities. I can imagine that situation pretty easily, actually. And I liked the way you wrote it. How Anakin struggled throughout and finally become one person again. I also appreciate that you have the therapist be useful and not some cliche jerk. The relationships between the characters were very well done. I never spared a thought for Dorme before this, but now I'm quite fond of her. And Padme, and Anakin, and Obi-Wan, and of course Luke and Leia and everyone else... I also loved the humor sprinkled throughout the story, especially the way you wrote Palpatine and his eternal quest to convert Obi-Wan. Good luck with /that/. xD Again, thank you so much for writing this! :) You rock. |
ibelieveintruelove 9/9/09 . chapter 26That was awesome! I loved your way of looking at Anakin's return to the light. Two personalities! Very interesting. It was a funny, uplifting, insightful, and wonderfully told story. Nice work! |
Jenn.Napier 4/15/09 . chapter 26This story is absolutely astounding May I suggest to wright a sequel? It's a very touching Star Wars tale that I would really think that it should be continued. Thank you for writing this magnificent story and I do hope it continues. Kudos to you! |
twisterblake 2/17/09 . chapter 1great chapter |
Bandbabe 1/29/09 . chapter 26I absolutely enjoyed this story! It was magnificent. I love how you wrote about Obi-Wan's journey into marriage and fatherhood. I enjoyed reading about Dormé's development. And their friendship with Padmé during her darkest hours and her times of joy. You wrote Padmé as a strong woman whose journey through pain, loss, acceptance, and rebirth was compelling. Most of all, Anakin's multifaceted journey back from darkness was epic. Darth Vader as a split personality was an interesting theory that I never considered. It fit well with the story/character of Anakin Skywalker. I loved that this novella covered Anakin reclaiming his humanity and did not end with the death of Palpatine. It continued through the ups and downs of his reunion to Padmé and making amends with Obi-Wan/Ben. I think it was realistic that they did not take the twins away from their adoptive parents. I liked how they dealt with that issue and still stayed close to their children. Overall, bravo! Excellent story. Props to Qui-Gon! I loved it. Thank you! |
mlhkvh5 5/14/08 . chapter 26 I just finished reading this fantastic story again, and I must say this is one of the best stories I have ever read. It is a unique Vader redemption story, very realistic, and so well written! I loved the humor in it, and the way back to being whole that Anakin took. Padme as Norel was very good, writing Anakin with him unaware. Thank you for taking the time to write such a wonderful tale-it is appreciated by your readers! You left it open for a sequal if you ever wanted to do one! |
Mushrambolover 4/26/08 . chapter 26Wow. This is, by far, the best Star Wars fanfiction I've ever read. And I admit, I was... hesitant to read this at first, but the story really captivated me. ) Wow. Kudos to you! |
Leda 4/12/08 . chapter 26 That was really a lovely story. Thank you for writing it ) |
Sensation 2/20/07 . chapter 26I haven't read that many stories about Star Wars so I don't have much to compare it with but I must say I like this one very much. Even though it's very long, and I just want them to get togheter from the very beginning. I think you have written the story in a very good way, personality changes should take a very long time, whether the reader want's it to or not. As I said, it was a very good story. |
Padakin 10/25/06 . chapter 16 This was going to be a hell unto itself. Now that is an excellent chapter ending. |
Padakin 10/25/06 . chapter 7 Why, he’d heard several employees remark what a likeable fellow that new guy Anakin was. None of them could remember what department he worked in, but was he ever personable! Hee! And hee to the opera! Oh, I love this story. It's hilarious. |
