Aw, I feel so sorry for Willy in this, he deserves more of a life than that. This is a really great story, and I like how you fitted in Dahl. :)

This is one of the best stories I've ever read, and I dont just mean in CatCF or in fan fiction. I mean this is one of the best pieces of fiction I've ever read.

Wonderful sense of mood. I actually teared up a little, and I can't remember the last time I cried over a short story.

This is the best AU story ever and in fact, unto itself it is a great story. The prose are good, unique in their descritions without being over-indulgent or self-impressed; not that I always mind such a thing, but it certainly would not have suited this tale.

Do you work in an office environment? Because it is as if you depicted the lonely, nonsensical life of of a creative person itself. I did not find the tale entirely sad because it shows how even in a small way, even in a small life, how we can benefit each other, how we can transform the ordinary into the phantastical. Thanks for being an example of that.

I may have to pimp this tale at Live Journal in the Whangdoodles community, if you don't' mind. I'd encourage you to do it yourself though. For Dahl and CatCF fans such as myself, this is a real golden nugget.

Aw! That is so adorable. And so... wonderful. God, I can't even think of any words to describe it. I love Willy's characterization (he gave me a serious Ichabod Crane/Victor Van Dort feel, which of course had me in giddy hysterics). Dahl, too, is a perfect inclusion. *sigh* Lovely, beautiful, fantastic fic. And a deft bit of writing, to boot. Keep up the good work!

That was great! It sure felt like the origin of the actual books. As if Dahl had really been through it. Who, knows, maybe there's a 'Willy Wonka' somewhere in the world, but the cruelty in it never let him accomplish his wishes.
I liked how original and different this story is from all others. As always, the writing was 'phantastic' XP
I had to laugh at the part when he was speaking with his dad in the phone because just as I read he was twirling the phone cord around his index finger. I was doing the same movement and making spirals in my pillow. Perfect!

For being an AU story where Wonka is completely out of his world you kept him IC. Good job.
