I love this story, it's amazing

Their children are still going to be the last of the line of humanity, unless they have sex with eachother (assuming they had at least one male and female) and give birth to inbred children, that's still the last of it. I think you forgot to mention whether or not any of humanity came back.

Oh my gosh that is the best friggin after impact story I have ever read *shakes her head* Some people have all the talent But one question that I will kill you for if you do not answer (just leave it as an random review for one of my random stories) WHAT DID SHINJI DO AFTER KAWORU DIED? YOu know, this part:

Shinji was quiet for a long time before he finally spoke up.

When he began to speak his voice was so filled with shame that it

shocked her almost as much as what he had to say. He started

with Kaworu, the confusion that resulted, the pain that had

followed the death of one of the only people who had ever openly

admitted they cared for him. The desperation that he had felt with

everyone he knew gone. As he told of his visit to her room her

eyes widened in slight fear that he had done something to her

while she slept. Then they narrowed in disgust as she heard what

he had actually done, then a blank expression fell across her face

as he tried to explain the hollowness that had followed his attempt

to give some measure of pleasure to himself.

Lol, I was scouting round the web and found a lemon called Water Hazard that it said was based on this, so I decided to read this fic first before checking out the Lemon!

Dude! Truly beautiful. I am really please with it. The story was done perfectly. Few errors but who cares? I just love Shinji/Asuka fics and I do agree with you about the whole thing w/ Rei. I still think Rei is cool, but as a mysterious cool type thingy, lol. Oh! and I do hate Shinji/Rei pairing...anyways, great work. Keep on writing.
