Aw, it's cuddly and sweet and make my heart sort of relax and not be quite so hardened against Qui, at least until the rest of my brain catchs up and indignantly informs me that the real Qui would probably be miffed that Obi-Wan had lied to him about how sick he was and lecture the feverish young man about the impropriety and unacceptable nature of lying to one's Master under any circumstances, especially those involving the outcome of a mission. *Rolls eyes and glares and Qui and demands to know why he can't be more like this nice, sweet, caring Qui*

*Resolutely squashes crackhead plot bunny that wants to shout about how THIS is why Leia doesn't like her father and won't come to terms with him no matter how many people tell her she has to in the EU - because she's been pissed at him since before birth, for being passed over in Luke's favor, and there is after all no fury beyond that of a scorned woman*

*Snickers over the hating to lie to Obi-Wan line and the implications, because is a 'verse where he's touched Luke and realized that he no longer loves Padme, I rather think he'd be able to stand back and let Mace kill Palpy, now wouldn't you agree? And then Padme could just die of nice solid sensible complications from childbirth and the boys would be free to be themselves and Leia could try to make everyone's life a living hell, with Luke fighting her every step of the way*

Cute. Too cute. Just too cute for words.

omg! That was so adorable! I'm almost in tears considering what happens in the end for both "father/son" relationships. I especially loved the Obi-wan/qui-gon. They are JUST TOO CUTE FOR WORDS!

Nice! That bit between Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon was beautiful. I so loved it! Despite his gruff exterior, Qui-Gon has a big heart and ya showed it perfectly!

Also loved that bit with Anakin. *smirks* Yeah...if you do squint just enough ya can see the slash. Nice! And the bit between Anakin and Luke was beautiful. I bet if Anakin had never turned, Luke would have him wrapped around his little finger. *smirks*

*grins* Well, you can never go wrong with Sicky-Wan, even if it's Qui-Gon tending to him. It _was_ a very "aw" moment between them. Father and son, like it should be. (Of course, this is only _my_ opinion!)

And you can NEVER go wrong with Anakin being all sweetly gyah with his children, even in utero! His reaction to Luke was just precious. Makes me sniffly to think of a 'verse where he doesn't get to meet his beautiful babies.

Sweetness! I do love father/son relationships between Ani and Obi and Qui and Obi. Loved it and can't wait for more of your writing! Your fabulous at it so keep it up!

I thought this was a particularly cute vignette. You're very good at writing this certain age for Obi-Wan, and his relationship to Qui-Gon. I think you write those two very well, and in a charming way that I can really relate to. And I was so proud of you, writing Padme the way you did. Not so much as a barnacle, but more of an increasingly unnecessary part of Anakin's life. It's much more realistic, and of course...anything involving a baby Luke will charm me to no end.
