Sad T_T I really liked the ‘truths and lies’ plot device, it worked well with them. The story has an almost surreal atmosphere, as if the whole momentary truce is all one big lie that they’re both carefully ignoring.

There are no words in my vocabulary to express how beautiful I thought this drabble was. Sufices to say, it touched me deeply and made me think, and smile, and just very nearly cry.

The wording was beautiful, the plot short and to the point, the insight into Charles's mind not enough to be a PoV, and yet still enough. Very well done :)
