I suppose this is a beautiful way to end the fic, in one of those open ended endings that let you know the story may have reached one ending but it's only beginning another journey. It's been nearly four years since you last updated so I'm going to assume you have no plans to continue on from here. It's a shame, I would like to see how this pans out,(gives me a City of Angels vibe actually) but as a fellow writer I can understand the reasons an author may have for not continuing a story. Regardless, I was deeply touched by this story. It's a rare fanfic that can arrest my emotions and remind me that fandom is not all slash pairings and pointless character wanking. My favorite aspect of this fic is that you made me feel the intensity of the bond between Pharaoh and Yugi. This is the first YuGiOh fanfic I've ever read and I'm pleased that it turned out to be such a wonderful read. :)

Man oh man. You're quite the writer, aren't ya. I'm so glad I had only two classes today, it gave me plenty of time to read this through.

You have to be one of the best writers I've encountered; you write entrancing descriptions and believable (and witty/humerous) dialogue, as well as an emotional plot that you've handled well. I adore stories about Yugi and the Pharaoh, and the bond they share - of course, I can't deny any story that has Joey too. The friendship that they all share - Yugi, the Pharaoh, Joey, Tristen, Tea - it's an awesome bond, and when it's written as well as you're writing it, it's simply amazing.

My apologises if that last paragraph seemed choppy at times, I'm incredibly sleepy.

But a story written this well is satisfying to find; I've searched and searched for a coherent story about Yugi, the Pharaoh or Joey (nyeh), and this definitely put my mind at ease.

Please, if you ever have the time or want to finish this (I know you've mentioned you're not sure if you like this story), please do finish this fanfic.

I have to say, this is one of the most wonderful works I've read on this site since I first joined. You really drew me in. I hope you continue. It's such a magnificient peice, I can't imagine not ever finding out the ending.

Oh dear, I don't think you're going to finish this story, are you...? That makes me so unbelievably sad. This was written years ago, right?
I think it's overwhelmingly apparent how amazing this story really is. You might have mentioned you thought it was 'dull' or whatever but why sell yourself short? It couldn't be farther from the truth. The way you make everyone so alarmingly in character- seriously, you have it nailed down to the tee. You've managed to capture the rare bond of friendship that existed between Yugi and his friends. And my favorite moments are definitely involving the interactions between the spirit and Yugi- it's so scarily accurate yet heart-warming :)
I guess the most remarkable (yes, I just said 'remarkable') thing about this work is the fact that I can easily transition from crying to laughing within seconds. That is such a rare talent that you have I can't even begin to tell you how insanely lucky you are. I mean, if you could get some emotionally constipated person such as myself to cry, then I'm sure you had countless of others writhing on the floor!
Another thing- the afterlife you had depicted is worthy of more of my rambling! It was very surreal yet believable because you narrated it with such confidence any reader could easily go along with it. And the fountain with the ribbons of life in it? Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. In this fantasy world you have created, everything is nonsensical yet very much real...the part when the spirits didn't believe they were dead was haunting.
I think there are about a million and a half things that I would like to say to you, but I have a hunch that your eyes are probably glazing over by now if you are reading this.
Besides, you probably are sick of all the endless raves about your story, right? (well at least I didn't just throw in a half-hearted, 'update soon'!) So, assuming that this work is more likely than not finished, I want to thank you for contributing this story and validating that some YGO fics are more than worthy to be read or maybe drooled over ;)

I've been debating for a short while whether I should review this, or not. I think, perhaps, my reviews haven't been very well-written recently.

Anyway... I'm impressed. This was very, very good. I'd go on to list all of the things that were good, but I'm not going to bore you with it (it's a long list).

I did have one small complaint: my attention wandered. Sometimes, some of what you wrote didn't seem necessary, and so, I lost concentration, for example, in the middle of a paragraph. It happened more often as I read further (the Serenity-dream part in particular), but part of that could be because it's late here (or really early).

You, as an author, get an instant fave for this story.

I absolutely love the Afterlife you've presented. You did a great job at conveying it through your writing. And the relationship between Yami and Yuugi is very solid, grounded, and endearing.

I have to admit that after becoming so engaged with the plot and the characters (I love the way you wrote Yuugi and Yami), I was disappointed to find that this story hadn't been updated since 2006. I understand that factors like real life and loss of interest can get in the way, but I do hope that you'll come back to it one day and finish it.

D8 What an awful place to end... <3 There'd better be another thirteen parts coming like you said. *** gun * Seriously though, I've absolutely loved it so far. <3 For the most part I don't read fan-fiction; it tends to be dull and poorly written. But your fan-fictions (I've read this and Twist so far) have been not only absolutely amazingly written, but really interesting, too. It breaks my heart to think Yugi's dead (not once but twice OMG), but the stories are still just really, really great. All of the characters are totally in character (which can be very hard to do when they aren't your characters that you made up), and you don't have awful grammar like a lot of fanficers, which makes me very happy. 8D;; I'll admit that I haven't actually read all of it. XD; I had to skip some parts because I just wanted to know SO MUCH what happened next and to answer my questions; I've tried not to skip anything important, but sometimes I got so freaked out and worried that I just had to move on ahead adn read. 8D; I know that's an awful thing to do (as a wannabe author), but I just can't help it. I guess the fact that I haven't read all of it is a testament to how good and interesting it is...? 8D; I'll definitely read everything else you've typed up--your humor even in dark stories like this makes me incredibly happy and shows what kind of person you are. Abridged, fan-fiction, anything. :) No matter how dark, or sad, you can totally make my day in an instant. Thank you so much for everything you've contributed! You've brought me uncountable happiness and laughs and hours of wading through the internetz. I spent all of today busy working wishing I could be home reading fan-fiction. :) Keep up the good work! this is the most beautiful poetic story ever. and to cast my favourite people in the world made it the best. outstanding. i know that you are very busy making the funniest video ever. but if you ever have spare time, you must create more beautiful stories to share. please include yugi and the spirit (yami) and their close relationship again because well i don't need to tell you. you should already know how talented really are. i salute you.

Wow. All I can say is wow. Your story has absolutely blown me away, and there were times where I was almost in tears. I watch YGOTAS and to read this...well, it's just a mind-blowing experience because they're very opposite from one another. I would love to come up with material like this! Okay. I read this story about a year and a half ago and was literally blown away. It made me sob (several times). It was all exeptionally well written, from the description of the netherworld, to the little flickers of puzzleshipping (or companion/freindship stuff) beautifully thrown in, just to make it even more heartbreaking!

Most people probably got to your stories, from the abriged series. Hehe...I read the stories thought they where amazing/touching/squealworthy tried to find them by typing your name in. Stumbled onto your youtube account (backwhen it was little kuriboh) and found your videos in which i love. So yea^^ Thanks for making all this stuffx It brings a bit of light and humor into all my days^^ (or huge addicting sadness from your storys) :P
