hey, that was really great...i like your characterisation of byakuya..and how calm he was the entire time, it really fits into what we've seen of him from the anime lol.
he certainly LOOKS like he's always thinking about something..or someone..(brooding, angst-filled men are just my cup of tea hehe *beams*)
i especially liked how you wrote it so that it was completely from his point of view and he was oblivious, so oblivious to her screaming and CRYING at him, (for god's sake) lol.
He pushed her down, wrapping his arms around her. 'Everything would be okay…

-> this made me sad. i fell in love with him a little more. i think poignant would be a good way to describe it.
your writing style was great though, really to-the point, but eloquent at the same time.
“Byakuya-” he interrupted her, pressing his lips against hers. Her eyes widened, while his slid closed.
-> *sigh..so forceful..so inconsiderate..so HOT. (oh gosh just shoot me).
the possibility of this love triangle (even though hisana's not counted amongst the living anymore-which reminds me, if she died while in soul society, where did she go? to heaven? *puzzled*) has been bugging me for ages, ever since i found out who they were..
i saw this absolutely beautiful picture today, it was of hisana sitting outside somewhere with byakuya at nighttime, with a sakura tree in the background..i thought you'd like it, coz wen i was reading your story i instantly thought of it...well anyway here's the link!

I read this earlier but I totally forgot to review it. I love dark stories, and this really helped inspire me when I first started writing for the Bleach section of this site. Thanks for writing this story, here's to hoping you'll make another along the lines of this.

before i found out that rukia is byakuya's adopted sister, i wanted the two of them to end up together.

the flashbacks of hisana in byakuya's head (referring to the manga) were deceiving since i thought that it was rukia at first.

man, your fic was angsty . . . and morbid. it was well-written, though.

even if rukia and byakuya weren't blood-related, i still wanted to pair them up -- i feel like a perv.

What a nice story. So sad, poor Byakuya-san. It's possible for this to happen, Rukia and Hisana are like practically twins! Renji should have checked on Rukia that night... anyway, lemme shut up now

This story is very beautifully written. Good job. Byakuya's inner pain, their characterization, everything about it are great. One of those stories that almost make me cry at the end of the story.

Such a bittersweet story! I feel so bad for Byakuya.
