Excellent story, really enjoy it. I like your stories, they offer an interesting perspective into the relationship between the members of the Imaldris household. But I think I like this best compare to your others that I have read (must confess haven't read all of them yet), it is quite unique especially in the "sequential" sense of the Valendil's victims. I especially like the part when even Elrond needs some emotional healing as well... even the healer needs some healing before he explodes! Thanks for the stories and hope to read more of your fics.

Wow - susepenseful. The part with Elladan adn Elrohir enjoying the morning was a bit overdone, though I do understand what you were trying to accomplish. Definately worried for Elrond now.

this was so good! the only part i didn't like was when Estel was begging his father to stop Valendil from hurting him; I'd like to think that at the age of sixteen the future King of Gondor would be strong enough to say ANYTHING but that. i mean, really, that is THE worst thing he could have been screaming.
and the ending is HILARIOUS!
poor Valendil i am glad they didn't kill him. that part was especially well done, how Elrond decided what to do with Valendil.

well, this earns the prize for "most intriguing first chapter" of any story i've ever read on fanfic.
i'd write more but i just gotta keep reading now. :)

I have to say that this is probably one of the best fics I've ever read and is definitely in my top 5. Everything about it is beautiful, especially the conclusion. All of it is amazingly well done, writing-wise, as are all your stories. You have incredible talent as a writer. The only correction I have is that you spell Maedhros' name wrong a few times, but it looks like it was probably just a typo. I also wanted to ask if you are still going to write Silmarillion fics, like you said in your bio. If so, I await them with baited breath. Thanks for a great read.

I found Erestor to be really interesting in this story. I'd definately like to know more about his past. While I was glad that you played Erestor up, I was a little bit disappointed that everyone else got so down played, particularly Glorfindel.
Anyway, it was still excellent and I really enjoyed it.

I have mixed emotions on this last chapter...glad that the residents of Imladis are getting their lives back together...but sad that the story is over! I love the way you portray these characters...you write their emotions very well and their actions are certainly believable. I will miss this story, so...I'm hoping you have another story in the works that includes young Estel (please??).

OMG, I can't believe they bet on whether he'd hurt someone! That's just darn hilarious! Is the exploding corn popcorn? Ai Elbereth, I loved this chapter! I just had a very, um, weird experience with boys and dates and crushes and confused feelings, and this really helped to get my mind off my mixed-up feelings for a while.

I'm glad Estel has forgiven Valendil. I hope Valendil gets to Valinor safely and finds healing for his heart at last. This was a truly wonderful story! As I said before, the Valar have indeed graced you with superb story-writing skills.
