If you have given up on this story, which is understandable, could you please reply to this with a summary of how it ends though? I wasn't expecting something so...epic when I first started reading this. Your writing is amazing, and your ideas are even better. Danny's relationship with Vlad, of all people, is so interesting and intriguing. I mean, I was kind of expecting him to eventually befriend Valerie, but you've added a whole new dimension to Vlad's character. It makes him seem human.

It's been half a year, but I really think you should continue writing. I really don't want something written so amazingly to be wasted!

I know what it's like to have a friendship just break like that. I would help you, but I have a number of on-going stories I barely update as is. If it were a lesser number, I would most certainly help. You have a very good grasp of the characters, Vlad's specifically. If and when you update this story, I look forward to it. Not many could concoct chessmaster-esque schemes.
