God, you've really got Dawn beating herself up over a situation she has no control over. She's got some major self-esteem issues in this fic.

The girl really needs to step back and view what happened from an objective standpoint. Maybe then she'll realize that none of what happened was her fault, and she's beating herself up for no good reason.

After all, it's not like Dawn could control Cordelia's emotions or who she would fall for.
