I actually did expect it to happen. I think Bakura's thought patterns gave him away. It's like he was trying his best to distance himself emotionally from Ryou the night before. But I was hoping that I was wrong.

that he did it himself, instead of the usual ryou-mistaken-for-bakura twist... but in a way it really works to explain why he treats ryou the way he does in canon.

oh wow. That was amazing~ Not canon, but who cares?? You pulled off your storyline well~ The ending stuck a little, not because Bakura killed Ryou, but because an insane person was capable of apathy in the first place. Besides that though, very good story~! In the earlier chapters, you mentioned about how bad it was-- you lied. Have more confidence in your writing!

Well, I totally don't like the ending. Though, I don't hate it strangely enough. But Bakura should have realized it was a mistake, like, eyes going wide at the agony which is left behind, the seriousness of his loss...
Anyway, the previous three chapters I absolutely adored. So nice! *squeals* It's such a cute shipping... alas, it has to end that way... why? I know it makes a twisted sort of sense but still... I like to think Bakura would hesitate at least a little longer and realize what his love really means to him. Though he couldn't continue his revenge then... confusing. It was probably hard for you to decide on this ending, though it might be for the best or the story would have had to continue for a while longer.
