Now, why wasn't this kept in TLW? A critical perspective from all the minor characters is exactly the sort of philosphical complimentation that would make the final chapter of your fic complete.

All that aside, this was a delectable ficlet on its own - a perfect medley of teen angst and age old speculation. As I said before - a critical perspective from all the characters. It was well put together, and worded as beautifully as its overall message.

I have to say I actually passed over 'True Love Waits' several times simply because of the title. It gave me the impression of some terribly naive story where everything works out because happy endings are somehow a foregone conclusion.

Lucky for me you have plenty of fans because reading these stories has definitely been a pleasure.

This last bit really got me. Kaji does such an amazing job of being jaded there, something I'm painfully acquainted with and aware of. I feel like you could do an awesome Kaji fic. That last bit was just so real. I really felt like you were reaching out of the page and touching one of the uglier memories of my life. Maybe I'll make it a fanfiction one day; it seemed to work well here.

Out of everything I've read of yours so far, I have to say Kaji's monologue here struck me as the saddest. That's obviously for personal reasons here but I also feel like your touching on some fundamental part of your own life as well. Or perhaps I'm misinterpreting your authors notes. Anyways, regardless, I think you should explore Kaji's ponderings further in your next work. I guess what I'm saying is that you seem pretty disappointed by love--maybe you should write about that? Or is that really the theme of "True Love Waits" waiting to be revealed in your finale? *gasp*
