I've been looking for an FF that was HikaruXAkira, but still involved Akari having feelings for Hikaru. I'm so cruel... but what can I say? I love drama, and especially when it revolves around a yaoi/shounen-ai couple and a female third wheel. I cant wait to see what happens next!

I DO enjoy this fic very much and I'm glad to hear that you enjoy writing it! This way it's safer to hope for an update! (early or not)

It does sound angsty sometimes and it's quite interesting. I guess homosexuals aren't that appreciated anywhere... What a shame. Anyway, Hikaru dealing with it sure is worth the reading! Plus, he looks pretty in character and the others as well. (Akari was so sweet... T.T Then again, HikaAki is power! Sorry girl...)

A lot of remarks, be it Hikaru's or others's, were hilarious, too, though! I loved Waya's reactions in the third chapter! XD The "I'd rather it be Ochi" comment was the best ever! lol

I'm just wondering what you mean by "slightly" one-sided... Does that mean it is but won't last? I kind of hope so... It'd be too bad if Hikaru just had to give up after all those efforts... I wouldn't mind a "rejection at first", though! Even though I can't figure Akira being too ** Hikaru... Well, I'll just see. I trust you to make the next chapter good. ^_^

hey the story is great and i just love the fact that it is someone writing it that knows about japanese culture first hand! i recently read a story about yuuri and wolfram and konrad tells yuuri that its not about being gay where you are stereotyped into loving all same sex people but about that one person gaining enought recognition from you to deserve your attention.
and i love the idea of your other story, i love your culture and in my college class we recently went over the tales of Genji(not as much as I would have liked) but i hope you do post it soon, if it is written the way this story is written you shouldnt need a beta becuse your writing and grammer are just great!!
