Just bop me on the head and call me idiot of the year—you've been reviewing my stories for HOW long and it took me THIS long to read yours?! This's a great little vignette here; lots of writers seem to forget that Darkwing and Negaduck are essentially the same person, and treat them as totally separate beings. I also liked that description of Negaduck's apartment complex and its inhabitants...though I can't really picture Negs allowing other people to share "HIS building" without trying to kill them. XP (Is that poem/song at the end your own invention? If so, awesome work!)

*blinks* ... Wow. That is a lot of characterization packed into a small story. Very well done. The lyrics (?) at the end remind me of a song I know, called "Open your Eyes" by Sum 41. The chorus goes like this:

This isn't me,
This isn't you,
But it's just everything we do.
Till you open up your eyes,
and understand this isn't real.
This isn't me,
This isn't you,
This is everything but true,
Till we come to realize,
It's what we put each other through.

Nice little story I enjoyed it

It's been a while since I first read this, had to come back and review. This fic is so truthful, you have to think that Negs is too busy fighting to really think about what's going on. Out of all the villains I think Negsey is the one that doesn't take care of himself that well. Darkwing sure did stump him though in this one didn't he?

Great chapters! I liked a lot Drake and Gos in the previous one, and this, with Negs and DW in their civil identities is wonderfully done. Lanton sounds like Negs' personal Muddlefoot.

This story is right up my alley, I love the DW/Negs dynamic...very strong for a small bit of fiction. I'm amazed at how much great characterization you inserted in such a limited time (“See something you like, Dipwing?”...loved it). Great imagery towards the end, and you didn't lose the reader despite the amount of description. Nice work, wish there was more.

Pretty cool story! Negaduck and every criminal should look at the mirror and see themselves as the evil bastards they are!
