Probably one of the more deep, meaningful love stories I've read in a long time. Extremely amazing. Sheik forever.

I love how archaic Sheik is! Wonderfully written and a very good ending which a lot of people wouldn't have dared to use (anti-climax! Shocker!)

This is a really rare jewel of a one shot. Most of the time one-shots aren't that well thought out or planned, and usually, they are mediocre. I loved your characterization of Sheik. I enjoyed how you didn't make him out to be gorgeous, just a regular looking boy. I also liked how you made Malon able to heal, and not just stuck in the same emotional rut, forever doomed to unrequited love. The only question I have is this Sheik his own person or is it simply Zelda in disguise? I know that Sheik is fully male, but some people believe that Zelda could transform physically into a boy.

I haven't found a story written this well in a long time. Great job.

nut this is pretty good and well written, i want to know more about this guy who has taken on shieks mantle, and how he knows zelda. intresting.
and to the guy who said that nintendo portrayed his with pec, they did it so people wouldn't guess that shiek was a girl, it would have revealed to much to those who hadn't playedf the game all the way.
its obviously out of cnon and out of the storyline, but i would like to know, is this what wouold have happened if link had been defeated, or is this while he is getting the medalions, or during the seven yewar gap.

I'm sorry but I have to say this...to the first reviewer...the Sheik in the game is not a freaking girl! Zelda may be female but she was using a males body. If you look at the official OOT artwork Sheik has pecs for Gods sake! And no hint of womanly features.

I applaud you on an extremely well-written fic. Although I am very much a Link/Malon shipper, I think this fic has prompted me to go another way. What I find even more spectacular is your portrayal of Sheik and how Malon is so accepting of him. I must say this is probably one of my most favourite fics ever. Spelling, grammar, everthing is very efficient. I might suggest a little more discriptive language, though you provided very pleasing character development which made up for this ten times over. I'm going to go back and read this over and over and over...

I think the story was lovely and romantic, and the end was quite sad. A continuation would be nice, but I know that some authors like endings like that, and would rather leave it be. I'm adding it to my favorites.

I really hope to see more of this, a second chapter or a continuation. I think I'll try writing about this weird pairing, you made it seem so perfect! Besides, weird pairings are my favorites.
