Madame, you have given me a delicious kick of nostalgia... I've been dabbling and searching here and there, trying to resurrect that old giddy, fluffy feeling I used to get while reading enjoyable Tekken fanfiction. oh, how yummy!

now, reading the whole story almost in one sitting, I was particularly struck by how well you flesh out the characters, starting them off with seemingly superficial problems and interactions, slowly unfolding and revealing the actual depth behind them, ultimately maturing and leaving them satisfyingly multi-dimensional, with the sense that despite all the problems (indeed, even *because* they weathered them), all will be well... and throughout it all, the reader experiences the characters' discoveries about themselves with them as they happen; I find these moments very poignant and satisfying to read. I ended the story feeling just as content as the heroine does!

It wasn't the betrayal.

It wasn't even the images that kept flashing through his head of Xiaoyu with someone else, their hands on her, mouth on her, someone whose name he didn't need to know.

It was the fact that he loved her, even now, even after everything. He wanted to be indifferent to her, to shut off any feelings he had left for her, but his heart just wouldn't co-operate with him, even as he tried to hate her and swore that he couldn't, and wouldn’t, forgive or forget.

Xiaoyu had heard the crash of the coffee cup hitting the floor, and she winced. Booking her flight could wait. She had to talk to someone. - Best. Descriptions. EVAH.

I've already R&R'd the last chapter of this piece of epicery, so I'ma just go read it and be all :3 for the rest of the day. XD

Out of the whole of this fic, this is still my favourite chapter. I don't know why but I love it to bits. Its just so real. And awesome. As always.

The fight with Jin was, as always, awesome and awesomely written.

This is a good story and I'm a bit disappointed with the ending. I was hoping it would continue. Great job.

That was my first Tekken fic. And an awesome one at that. XD


I was looking for something more action-y, actually. But even though this wasn't action packed I'm glad I had the chance to read it. Your story was so.. Realistic. All the characters were deep, and well, it was just awesome. :D


I wasn't really found of Xiaoyu and Hwoarang's pairing at first but changed that. I loved the ending, characterizations, and sex scenes that you handled in such a mature manner.


So yeah, you're awesome. Keep writing!
