Oh, I like this! Smoothly-written, and gorgeous characterisation. You capture the idealism and the eccentricities of both men very well, and the kiss was beautiful. I could have wished Annika a little less of a cipher, but that's my only criticism, and I suppose it's perfectly possible that Sam's taste would have been that bad at 20. *grin*

wow... never seen west wing, never read a west wing story, but i absolutely loved this... captures emotions brilliantly, tho i was confused about some of it, the raw emotion and understanding was just great. if he says he's a good writer, he's nothing compared to you...

Sigh. Nothing better than cute guys getting cute with each other. I never pictured Sam as so young, but it makes perfect sense in this world. And you handled the real-life juxtaposition very well. Nice job!
