To this day, this is one of my favorite H/L stories. Bravo.

It is rare that one stumbles across a story as wonderfully well-written as this one. It has an unusual style and flow to it due to the breaks in scene, but that lends a sense of stillness and provides the reader with a true sense of how nothing is occuring as time continues to pass on in the darkness. Your descriptions are both powerful and interestingly worded, and as a result the reader truly feels as it they too are standing upon the floorboards in the kitchen, seeing nothing but darkness outside, while hearing the dish shatter upon the floor. Your writing style is flawless, and it's a shame that this story has not had more reviews (I noticed the counter said 7) because it truly deserves more recognition. It is definitely being added to the C2 group I just started, and to my favorites. :)It would definitely be wonderful to see a sequel to this one-shot as well. :)

Okay, I read through the reviews, and I have to tell you that everyone is lying to you. This was awful. I'm sorry, but wow. The plot was bad, the pairing...eh..hm...
The writing wasn't absolutely horrid, but the plot...eh...
You have been chosen. Congratulations. It takes real talent to make it to the chosen list. We actual have to search in order to find these.
The situation was awkward and unbelievable.
