I found this series last night as I was about to go to bed (I had an exam today) and it was so compelling that I just had to read the whole thing. I stayed up till 2 in the morning, then slept in till about lunchtime so that I could get to my exam on time, and have a functioning brain. :) Kira is now my favourite ever OC. Please update soon!

I know it's been a couple of years since you've worked on this, but will a pretty please would you update this be any sort of encouragement?

I stumbled on The Barrista through someone else's favs list, quickly got hooked and jumped on this one immediately afterwards. At first I was concerned that a very promising premise would turn into another one of those Mary Sue fics, but this is great! A good strong character who has her own set of follies and quirks, well developed and well placed. I would really, really, really love to see more of this.

P.S. Is the coffee instead of Ritalin thing real?

I just had to reread Barista and Assistant! It feels like it gets better every time I read it. Thank you for writing these stories. I understand how life can get in the way of writing fanfiction and I wish you the best in whatever you have been up to.

I have only currently discovered your dual series The Barista and The Assistant and I must say I've enjoyed your works a great deal! It has truly been a treat to see our beloved characters from the point of view of someone only remotely (at first at least) involved with them. Indeed, my only complaint is a rather common tendency among SG-1 fan writers to have the other members of SG-1 refer to Dr. Jackson as 'Danny' - something which never happened in the series. I have happily noticed you've curbed this tendency in later chapters and hope to see you pursue the project further still.

You're awesome and as disdainful as my favourite English lecturer would be of such a short comment, I'm too tired to elaborate. Why am I too tired? Because I just read The Barista and The Assistant in one go. And I was fully prepared to be all 'OMG you're the devil, you haven't updated for two years', except my mum's indoctrinated me re: the ways of children and I can't possibly chide someone with a toddler for not writing more. So here's hoping there'll be some more (or an evisceration of Drexell, at least) and my compliments on a brilliant story.

Now I usually don't like OC centered stories...but I love ones that are shown from an outsider's POV, it's just so fun to see them try and put the puzzle together when they don't have all the pieces. Plus, Kira kinda grew into a very interesting chatacter--she kinda had to to keep me reading through the entire last story and this one. I'd really like to read more. Daniel comes back, right? I havn't actually seen any of Stargate episodes (I was introduced through fanfiction) so I don't know if him coming back is canon or fanon...but I hope he does. I really do. It really was unfair of him to die on Kira like that, even if he is around still...kinda.

I really love this story please update as soon as you can...
