This series is so awesome. Kira is a really fun original character and I can't wait to read more of her continuing adventures.

On a side note, it's been a long time since I took anatomy, but I'm pretty sure you mixed up the radius and the ulna - the ulna is longer and the radius is slightly shorter.

Well, I've had a very pleasant evening's reading catching up on The Assistant only to discover you haven't updated since last November! Ok, so I'm not one to talk since I drifted away from the whole fanfiction gig myself a while ago, but I'm back now! Come on, need an update. You can't write all this great stuff then leave us with that little tidbit and... nothing! Already I can see this Drexell dude is in serious need of a good kicking, but I can also see you dragging it out. Please update soon, I'm really enjoying Kira's perspective on the SGC.

GOOD GOD! It's been six months! Update! Please! I think I'm about to die without Kira and SGC updates! I want to see what else happens in the lovely life of Kree!

I feel like a bad fan for not finding this until today. Because, really, a sequel to Barista! I almost piddled myself with squee!

I had forgotten just how much I loved Kira and her take on our favorite characters. This makes me want to go back and reread Barista (yes, all of it)! I adore Kira and all her wacky adventures with SG-1.

I also (this almost goes without saying, but it never hurts) adore your writing. It's so *accessible*. Kira has thoughts that we all have, speaks like a normal person, remains consistent to the character that you've created for her...it's gorgeous. And (quite personally) I really love the lack of gratuitous violence, sex, or language in this pair of fics. Sure, there's a place for all that, but it's not necessary here and I'm glad you don't feel a need to stick it in for the sake of it.

OMG, Kira is the best OC ever... :) Update soon, please! I really can't wait to see what happens when Daniel comes back, but I guess that's not for awhile, huh?

Brilliant chapter! I loved the Barista series when it was first posted and hadn't realised that you'd started on season 6 with Kira - just read the whole lot in one go. Absolutely fantastic! Please update soon, i'm dying to know what Drexell is doing in the coffee shop!
