Oh I can't wait for that conversation! "So, Colonel Jack...seen any dead people recently?" lol! I absolutely adored the barista and can't wait for more of the assistant. I'm interested to see how she'll get along with Jonas. Will they be friends or will she blame him for what happened to Daniel?

That was a very sweet introduction into the second half of the series :) I loved it, of course :) I wonder how Jack will feel if he finds out Daniel hangs out with Kira and not him? He'll be jealous, I imagine :)

Btw, I particularly liked the line: James Stewart's imaginary 6-foot rabbit Harvey never caused him to cry, so why does my 6-foot Daniel make me want to? ROTFLMAO! And now in my head I have the image of Daniel as a 6 foot bunny, complete with one floppy ear and everything. *snort*

Don't know if you remember me, but I WAS Terreis. Yeah, changed my name. If you've caught an episode of 'Atlantis' you've probably figured that I'm a hopeless 'Carson' fangirl.

But the chapter! The chapter is the important thing. And I loved it! Kira and Daniel on a swingset is a wonderful setting, I think. It's kind of innocent and sweet. Now...is this AFTER 'Abyss'? Or before? Just curious. I'm figuring it's before, but I could be wrong. I really liked the reference to 'Harvey'. Hey, never pass up an opportunity to reference a Jimmy Stewart movie.

I'm looking forward to reading more. And I'm curious as to how Kira might react to Jonas. (I'm a reformed Jonas hater. It wasn't the poor guy's fault that the writers 'killed' Daniel off). By the way, congrats on getting your Masters. Until next time! And stay healthy this time, would you?

I'm VERY happy that you decided to continue the "Barista" Series. It had become a very entertaining staple of my fanfic reading over the past few years, and the only Daniel-centric fic that I would read.

OMG! When I saw that I had a story from you I about jumped...but when I saw that it was a KIRA story I shrieked for joy! I LOVE kira, and you write her wonderfully well, as you should, she is your character, but anyway...your Barista story is still one of my ultimate favs, and thank you, THANK YOU, for bringing this greatly missed character back! This is actually the first time I have submitted a review for your stories. I started reading the Barista series rather late in the making. I was glad I was alone when I read the last chapter because I cried like a baby! I was sad for Kira for days thinking about her loss.

When I got this alert from FF I nearly jumped for joy! And after reading this first chapter I am close to tears! I didn't realize how much I have missed Kira.
