Impressive start. It has been years since I read the Earthsea books, but this feels very fitting for what I remember. A tiny detail, dye is for dyeing cloth, you misspelled it "die". Wouldn't mention it if this weren't such a high standard writing. Great stuff, I'll be back for more.
