Great fic. The last 2 chapters(Ch.11 and Alternate Ending) in particular were the best written in my opinion.

I thought naruto changed. Since he was training under a monk

i think it's stupid that naruto won't even tell his team about his eyes. there going on a very dangerous and important mission, they should know what he is capable of. why the hell would he need an edge against his comrades.

In all honesty I have to say the first ending was much better than the alternate one. It goes to the same way as Great Expectations too. I must say though, I'm surprised Naruto was at level 29. It took the leader a long time to get up there, but for Naruto it wasn't that long...
Overall I enjoyed it very much and that last part was very heart-wrenching to me. Very excellent fanfic.
