It's been...uh...three years approximately since your last review on this story, but I as I just found this I felt compelled to comment. It's such a shame that stories as good as this get lost in the ether of the misc. musicals section. I only stumbled across it by pure accident and I'm very glad I did. Words can't properly explain how much I enjoyed this story, but the lump in my throat must count for something. Beautifully done.
