this is generally well written, and not too long, so it doesn't get boring or whatever. and i see some references to things we've had to do in school, too. :D didn't we read 'Island of the Blue Dolphins' in grade 6? or 7? eh, i don't remember. oh well.

the name Saito seems out of place, though. maybe next time try writing it with that name in, then going over it, changing it to Hub.
