That was really sweet, and really true I think. Kara herself is her own worst enemy. Others can forgive her for what she does but she can't forgive herself. She hides the pain but it comes back again and again every time she does something else wrong.

I like the way it ends "She wasn’t happy, but a new kind of peace had stetted inside of her" - that's enough to give hope, and none of them is really ready at this point to be with the other. This story rings true, and for that - thank you.
