I remember reading this a long, long time ago but I never left a review, obviously. The image of Tifa dancing while being watched by Vincent has stuck with me though, and I don't think I even knew who the author was until just recently. ;)

I think you've really brought out the characters' personalities well. Cid, gotta love him and his mouth. Vincent, quiet, and tentative when it comes to love. Tifa, graceful and giving. Yuffie, impish and immature. I think this is one of your better balanced pieces too. You used a lot of description when Vincent was watching her, entirely appropriate, but scaled back during dialogue, also entirely appropriate.

I thought the ending was rather abrupt, like it's missing a sentence or two to wrap the story up. But, like I said, it's haunted me anyway, and now it'll haunt my Favorites.

Vincent asked Tifa out on a date w00t. Ok I'm reading all of your stories. Yesh, I'm going to be reviewing them. So you're loved ^.^

Wonderful little story...seems like you could extend the story to more than just a one-shot...when I finished it felt like something was missing... I don't know, but it was truly a wonderful story...I loved reading every second of it. The way you described Vincent admiring Tifa was very beautiful. I loved the imagery you used.

Hope that if you decide to continue on with this that you update soon. It was very sweet!^_^

Man, has it been awhile. I'm glad you're back. You always remind me how much I still love FF7 and the characters, Vincent and Tifa most of all. This was lovely and light-hearted. It's such a beautiful thing, watching how Vincent watches Tifa. You write it so well, what he sees and how he sees; and the whole story feels so natural. Right.

...Peripheral vision, thought it was interesting how you had Yuffie watching Vincent too. And I love the family feel of the AVALANCHE gang with Yuffie's antics, little Marlene, and Tifa teaching Cid to dance. ...And (last one) for some reason, I got all fangirly when you mentioned Vincent cut his hair. XD Go you.

Oh, just a lovely beginning. I was captivated. I have to admit Vincent/Tifa is one of my favorite parings, along with Aeris/Zak. You simply MUST continue this, it held me breathless.

I simply love all the vivid desciption in this story. Not to mention it's a Vincent/Tifa fic but that's less important. What is more important is that this is a truely excellent fic.

Damn right, you accept, Tifa Lockheart. I always love the idea of Vincent watching Tifa from afar and then having the chance to be with her. It's just too nice. I'm so glad you wrote something else! I loved the little Marlene cameo. I love how she and Vincent interact. Anyway, I was wondering if you would write more to this, because I feel like there should be more after that ending, but if not, that's okay too. And you cut Vincent's hair. *frowns* Oh well. It's still soft and silky, and that's all that will probably matter to Tifa. And it'll grow back. :D Thanks for writing this.

I liked Vincent's oberservations, you wrote them well. Nice work, I'm not a huge Tifa and Vincent fan but this was enjoyable.

A fic from one of my favorite authors of all time; what a treat. Vincent's observataions on his surroundings and Tifa are excellently written as usual, as was the use of Marlene, who always provides a charming contrast to Vincent in a way that enhances both of their qualities.

This story can't be finished though, can it? Surely you won't leave us hanging? The deed is not done! We have yet to see Vincent carry out his bold venture! If I may say so, the ending, which turns to Cid and Yuffie, lacks a conclusiveness that makes a second chapter almost necessary, and I do hope that there will be a second chapter so we can see how the dynamic between Tifa and Vincent plays out.
