Bwa hahaha." *cry* I can't wait for them to meet, but now I have no choice. And it was so close, so close! Arrgh. Honestly though, it kills me when you do that. You better go back to them and make them meet next chapter, or else I think I'll spontaneously implode.

Anyway! Enough grousing at you, right? So... Oh my goodness, Vrandel is such a sweetie! And so, so sorrowful. He needs some serious cheering up. A giant hug is in due order. And I love him to pieces already. Both him and Mil'vardea have been so mournful... with good reason, of course, but they're in dire need of change. Oh, they have to meet soon!

But yes, that he freed the slave-girl: awesome. I think that must have really shown his personality... oh, can't wait for more of him.

Also, as always, your descriptions kicked serious **. My favorite for this chapter: "The sun shimmered off of the bead curtains, reflecting a spectrum of light onto the rough, sandstone walls." I'm not sure why it is, but that just gave such a -feel- for the room and the atmosphere of everything in the chapter... it was perfect. All of a sudden I could see the light across the room, the twirling beads... I don't know.. it was just such an exact illustration... maybe I'm crazy, but it just really jumped out at me. *sigh* You are so talented, my friend!

Oh, and also, Gylanda's description was extremely cool. Particularily the tattoo part! How it indicates her status... mmhmm, again, so cool.

Heh heh heh, and as for the leather-swathed northern woman- ahh! I can't wait! You must have them meet!

Aww, poor Mil'vardea! But -now- I know what happened, and even though she didn't meet anyone this chapter (grr) it was still absolutely wonderful because now not only has one of my questions been answered (yay!) but I have a more indepth view of Milvardea's character. So good.

Also, I'm smitten with the flashback scene.. the whole Northern Lights description was perfect.. it made it seem so calm before the evilness exploded. Damn dragons! Heh, but at first I was reading about the different lights casting shadows on the dancers, and I was like that's so cool, and hey, it's the-- *brain blanks* and I felt pretty stupid, because we see the Northern Lights al the time where I am. D'oh.

But again, poor Mil'vardea and her stolen lover! But alas, now at least I know why she's so sad... Again, Damn dragons. Although... that scene does correlate well with an up-coming one in Rotd. Ho ho ho. I thought that was so cool to discover.. but anyway, I will cease to tease, or else you'll do it in return and I -hate- having my own tricks used against me!
