I could perfectly picture Grissom holding Michael at arms length. My nephew who is 16 held his little sister who is two like that most of the time till recently. I kept reminding him she doesn't bite but he didn't seem to believe me.

That was good. I can see Brass as a grandfather, just with the way he is with kids; he's so calm and gentle.

It seems like a tough story to keep people in character but you did a very good job. Can't wait for the next chapter.
