I was just thinking about this couple, I...I'm SO happy that they are slightly happy at least. I felt so sad, when thinking that Hades was lonely. The sentence, "The next morning she wakes...etc, etc." Was terribly sweet.

'Sephone and Hades are always fun to write about. They're almost complete opposites yet they were forced together by fate. The legend ends there, so you never truly know what either thought about the arrangement. It leaves a lot of space for happy endings or angsty despairing fics.

Being the hopeless romantic I am, I like to think that 'Sephone got used to Hades. He may be cold and dark, but it's rather obvious that he cares for her if he left his home to kidnap her. Sure, there's better ways to show affection, but that one's pretty obvious.

I liked the fic. I don't know if Hades would be thoughtful enough to make gemstone flowers for 'Sephone, but it's cute anyway.

Fantastic! I've always felt for Persephone, but Hades deserves a great deal of sympathy too. He's cold in the myths, but he generaly grants his wife's requests, and he is always supportive of his brothers, though chance left him with a miserable kingdom. I wonder if your story describes the beginning of the Elysian Fields.

Just by reading that one piece I can tell you really know a lot about mythology (the fact that you mentioned so many figures within that short story was quite amazing.) You captured Persephone and Hades' poignant relationship really well and your imagery was beautiful. Keep up the wonderful work.
