Don't worry about killing off Sasuke, everyone knows that that would have been a whole lot harder to write if he were still alive.

I liked this. Enough that I won't pick it to pieces and tell you why I liked your choice of words or method of storytelling. It's perfect the way it is.

I WILL tell you that you had them beautifully in character - their actions and reactions all seem to real, both tangible and believable.

I also like that you had NaruSaku and a dead Sasuke, but still pulled it off without dissing our Uchiha, also keeping the bonds between them well very clear at the same time. Many NaruSaku fans shamelessly abuse Sasuke and villainise him completely.

So...thank you, for writing such a lovely and intriguing story, and for giving me something to do instead of my lab report. ^^

This is the only NaruSasu fic I have ever liked. I normally hate that pairing.

Obviously, it's a bit old, but it's still relevent. What most intrigued me about it is the envisioned ending of Sasuke dying while fighting Itachi. How unconventional. I like it a lot. If I ever write a Naruto fanfiction, I might have to snatch it or borrow bits of it. I doubt mine would be even as resolved as yours. He would not die with Itachi.


I don't believe Naruto and Sakura are meant for each other, but this story really convinced me that maybe there's a situation in which they could be together. Thanks for sharing.

Great story. I love well-written NaruSaku, and this story is wonderful. I love Tsunade, Naruto and Sakura and how they're dealing, or not dealing, with Sasuke's death, their relationship, the mission. and-
"You've got something," he said, reaching out and brushing his hand across her cheek. She forced herself not to react to the soft touch, his callouses scratching lightly across her lips and down over her chin. The moment stretched out and careened in, the world reducing to a pinprick of light that was just the clearing, herself and Naruto's heat on her skin. And then he leaned back, the spell broken, the moment over.
