I think you characterized Hinata very well actually, her being the quiet, fragile woman that would do anything for Naruto because she trusts him so much. I enjoyed how you put the Kyuubi in here, and the last line was... great (for lack of better word). RakeeshJ4 2008-01-15 ch 1,	abuseshudder Kyuubi can be insidious, and even if his intent and intrusions can be detected by chakra, he can still nudge and persuade with words as he is doing here. This is an interesting look, to me at least, of why a NaruHina coupling wouldn't work out, at least not as Hinata and Naruto appear in canon right now. Naruto's need for love matches Hinata, but Hinata is so much more passive about it. Even though she has in canon shown flashes of a Naruto-level committment to endure pain and suffering in furtherance of goals, with her it remains the exception, not the rule. So far as we've seen, anyway. I think she's a good person who deserves to have good things happen to her...but I don't think the two would be truly happy. Someone like Sakura, for example, would probably force Naruto to unburden himself with whatever was so horribly bothering him. Anyway. It's a grim, unpleasant look at what their life might be like, and you really add a nice touch of horror, ending where it did and how it did.

I like angst 2006-07-07 ch 1,	abuseFairly, creepy and enjoyable. I'm still elft wondering about the metal analogy. I don't recal any other references to metal tastes. Any way, the story was breath taking. It reminded me in soem ways of Poe and his belief that we all have this dark primal part of us. Also, the depection of hinata had hairs raising up my spine. It's true her dependency on him could be claustrophobic. Gah, excellent fic.

Lepus Iratus 2006-03-07 ch 1,	abuseOh, very good. Especially the end, it left a powerful image. It wouldn't suprise me if Naruto actually had thoughts like that, and not from the kyuubi, either. Might even try to convince himself it was the demon to validate himself. The ninja world seems pretty rough, and he's had the absolute worst of it, so his sanity is a bit suspect. The fact is, people do think things like that. In many stories, these things aren't mentioned. They're the most horrible aspects of humanity, the aspects we try to ignore, and to a large extent do. Bringing it to light creates some nice literary tension. Great job. Please, keep up the good work.
