It was a good story. I liked it. However...It's "Kaoru." It means Fragrant. It fits him I guess. o_O an um...It was Lillith, not Adam whom The angels were returning to. Kaoru figured that out right before Shinji killed him.

And to those who screamed "Kaoru is gay!" I have one thing to say:

He is an Angel. Angels are androgynous. They have no sex. Humans think only along the lines of gender so when angels descend from heaven, they must assume a gender. He chose to be a male because Shinji is deathly afraid of women. Is that enough for you or should I explain more?

kaworu/rei is just messed up! i don't know where you got that kaworu hit on rei at all! he just said about three sentences to her!

well he said a lot more than 3 sentences to shinji (and some other stuff too!)! therefore, kaworu really hit on shinji!

Personally I don't like Kaworu that much (there is shuch a thing as too positive) but I did think you caputred Shinji's Grief very well.

Okay, I like non-yaoi Shinji-Kaworu fics. The word Kaworu used means like/love and implies a strong liking. You'd use it to discribe how you felt about your loyal dog. It inferred more of a friendship than anything else. Also KAWORU'S NOT GAY! If anything, Kaworu would hit on Rei (which he did, to some extent). (Gee, I've got to include that in another fic.)

Kaworu's my fav too, though i don't know about eva that much...no fair, why does he have to die? why not...toji? why, why, WHY!
