THat was really good, I have to admit when i watched that episode I almost cried.

Totally excellent, though I must let you know that this brings back a lot of very bad memories. Right now I'm sitting here at my computer with tears in my eyes and sad feelings all around... my mom just finished watching season 5 on DVD last week.. maybe I should force her to read this fic.

Anywho, emotional impact aside... I discover I can't do that. This story was remarkably well-written, and in so few words you brought in the perfect emotion! It was as the show demonstrated it, with a little more hopeful insight, and you so kept it from going all nauseatingly flowerly and cheesily (which, sadly enough, can be done with death fics). I like the various flashbacks (I do suggest you italicize those or find another way to separate them from the rest of the story) and the two POVS. It was a great hodge-bodge of feelings, and it came off so well!

Nothing I can really complain about... but thank-you for writing this. Sigh. The romance that never was. Damn it.

That was so well written. You kept everyone in character, and gave us all what we wanted. You're such a wonderful writer!

A very sad story. Chloe O'Brian has always been my favorite character and Edgar was always a good foil and friend. You will be missed.

Make me cry...I've been in love with those two since the very beginning of season four, and I was so sorry when Edgar died, mostly because of the things that had gone unsaid. Thanks for this nice little story. Made me feel...a little better.
