That is almost exactly the line he used on Queen Amidala. Funny how these things work out. I had suspected the meeting with Palpatine would be a trap, and that young Vader would be there to aid his master in dispatching the council, but I guess not.

If it's not Grievous (as one might expect- the sabers were taken off the corpses), then it appears Sidious might be doing his own dirty work. I do not believe Ventress could have killed Master Tin. They are about to introduce the clone Skywalker(s) into service, then. Just my little guess before I read on.

Only now do I realize just how far I made it through the story last time I tried. But it was a wonderful read again anyway.

Fave line of the last chapter HAS to be "Oh my. Is poor Master Luke defective as well?"

I actually expected Padme to hear it and get on his case about calling her baby defective. But it was funny regardless. Well done.

Tomorrow I shall move onto the next installment.

O, the Millenium Falcon. Nice working that one in. That's one thing I do love about Star Wars, how so many things really do come around full circle. :D

Okay before this chapter I was already set to say I'm loving this and totally wishing Lucas had played it all out this way instead (would have liked the first three movies a lot more if he did). But this chapter totally made me like it all even more what with the whole scene where Obi-Wan and Anakin pretend to be troopers and dragging a fighting Yoga along. So very reminiscent of Yoda's first dealings with Luke. LOVE IT! I was laughing out loud.

And while this chapter held some laughter as well it held much sorrow too. One of the hardest scenes to watch from Episode I is when Anakin storms the Temple and faces off with the children. I've only been able to watch that movie once for that very reason. All the more reason I wish Lucas had thought of and followed your idea instead.

You are an amazing writer! Your stories just blow me away every time!

I hope that some people like Neeja Halcyon and his family, or Quinlan Vos and his made it out of the disaster alive.
I have a feeling that Padmé's trial will end up being that situation Yoda predicted for her, where her husband's and children's lives will depend on her. That will certain be interesting, and most probably pretty stressful. I love what you've done with Padm'e thus far, the abilities she now possess, and the idea of her as a Jedi is just great in my opinion.
Too bad you killed Mace Windu, I liked him (a bit more than Neeja and almost as much as Anakin -Obi-Wan is the only one above them all...)
Well, I shall now go see your next fic, which I can't wait to read.
Oh, and I couldn't help but wonder, is there any chance you may have this stories of yours in .doc or .pdf format; because they are certainly ones that I would love to have copies of to read and reread to my hearts content (which would most probably mean quite frequently).
