I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who would carefully consider the pros and cons before setting hundreds in motion to save a few.

Well done! I like that the Golden Trio appears to be rather lackluster in this fic. It is obvious that the war is affecting Harry deeply and in quite a different way than Ron and Hermione. He's obviously had to make decisions and do things that put him closer to a Slytherin point of view - even though it may appear cruel or cynic at times.

Cheers :)

Conny

P.S.: If I may just point out two little things: "Hermione shook his head" should probably be "Hermione shook her head". And isn't Ginny the youngest Weasley?

That was actually pretty insightful on the reality of war and the decisions Harry would have to make. It's interesting to see how Harry could change. Hermione and Ron are giving us an ideal way to handle the problem, and Harry and Draco are giving us a realistic version of what happens during war. Well done!

I once read that the difference between a human and Artificial Intelligence is that when it comes to choosing between a handful of individuals and an anonymous population, the human will always choose the individuals.
