This goes on the incredibly short list (I think this is #3)of song fics I actually like. I'm glad I didn't back out when I saw what it was going to be. The bits about the music that the different characters like were really great.

Wow... You made me cry. That was really sweet, I like how, even in death, Joey was able to teach Dick something about himself.

Yet another wonderful story. It's a nice twist to have Joey see so clearly what Dick can't. Nad your coice of songs is inspired. Love how you tweaked "Total Eclipse of the heart" and made it fit the relationship. I have to say my favorite part is where you talk about how the people who "know" Bruse don't really know him. THat Bruse is the lie, Batman the reality. I've always thought the same. I also loved the part where you talk about Alfred's singing. I could almost hear it in my head. I SO see him doing Henry Higgins. Have I mentioned I like this story? (grin)

A well written story that makes creative use of the idea of Dick Grayson's musical influences. What the author does wiyth the two parphrased songs is very well accomplished.

I know almost nothing about the character Joey; but I can see Dick mourning the loss of a friend and as the Titans' leader being stuck with the unenviable job of clearing his friend's room. Dannell's use of music to show Dick's feelings as Joey perceived is powerful. Highly recommended.

How did you know I like Jericho, too? One of my favorite Titans. And the Dick Bruce reconciliation was very realistic, IMHO! The songs especially kicked ass!
